Born in Athens, Georgia, 20 year old David grew up in the small town of Augusta, Kentucky and has been developing his country music skills since the age of seven. He began by playing drums, and then moved on to become a very skilled guitarist. Later, David started singing at the church, where his father was the pastor and his mother led worship. As his musical talents progressed and his passion grew, David picked up several other instruments, including saxophone, bass guitar, and piano. He began writing original songs at the age of 12 and went on to perform those songs for his community at local festivals and school events. After graduating from high school, David traveled to Nashville, Tennessee for a day trip to CMA Fest. While he was there he entered and won a music competition held by the world famous Martin Guitar Company. David's other interests include basketball, auto restoration and design, and various outdoor activities. David was one of the highest scoring point guards and a member of a historical championship team, the Augusta Panthers. He also recently obtained his master welding license and he enjoys working on any hands-on project. He is devoted to his family and close friends, as they have been extremely encouraging and supportive through his journey. David has been inspired by the passion, love, hard times and good times he and those who are close to him have experienced. David recently signed with Allen Sviridoff as his manager of Production Central in Los Angeles, California.
